Communications

Earpiece Comlink

This tiny comlink sits inside the ear, making it more difficult to detect. It uses the natural resonance of humanoid skulls to pick up on the vocalizations of its user.

Portable Holoprojector

This small, disc-shaped object is a combination imagecaster and comlink, enabling real-time communication with another similar device. It can project holograms up to two meters in height, which allowed for nearly full-scale images when communicating with most species.

Food and Drink

Lomin-Ale

A sweet, warm alcoholic beverage popular at many cantinas and bars in the Outer Rim. Many cantinas serve this as a mediocre brew, usually reserved for offworlders who don't know any better.

Darkmoon Stout

A dark, bitter alcoholic beverage brewed in Varlupis and served at The Hunt's Reward. A favorite of many Shistavanen locals.

On drinking this beverage, players should make a Hard Resilience check. If they pass, the next social check (Charm, Coerce, Deceit, Leadership, Negotiate) gains a Boost. If the check is failed, the next social check gains a Setback.

Hot Meal

This is simply a prepared, warm meal made from local farm products - tubers, greens - and local game. Once a day, if a player eats a hot meal, he may roll one Boost die. For each Success or Advantage, heal one Strain.

Wearables

Magnetic Boot Fittings

Bulky electromagnetic pads that can fit onto shoes or inorganic feet. Designed to allow technicians to easily perform maintenance in zero-G environments.

Repulsor Boots

These boots are powered by a micro-repulsorlift unit that effectively allows the user to operate as a very slow landspeeder. Maximum altitude of these boots is only a couple meters, and the boots can only maintain continuous operation for thirty minutes at a time. Regardless of these limitations, repulsor boots have found a niche in machine shop and warehouse use, where they give remarkable vertical maneuverability when working with large machines or vehicles.

Scout's Ready-Holster

This is a holster worn high on the hip with a ready-release catch. Originally designed for scouts to have rapid access to a sidearm from amongst their various other devices, this holster has proven to be more widely useful than its original design. Its only limitation is its size - it can only fit blaster pistols.

Medical

Ryll Patch

This is a small topical patch that can immediately be applied for a quick burst of energy.

Adrenal Stamina Stimulant

A cocktail of adrenaline, atropine, and other drugs, this stimulant is designed to revive a critically-wounded patient to allow for further medical treatment to be made. Using one dose of this will provide a Boost when used with a critical injury recovery Medicine check.

Cybernetics

Cybernetic Communications Package

Made by BioTech Industries, this tiny cranial implant interfaces directly with the auditory nerves to process and store local and transmitted audio. Because this is entirely subdermal, it is a communicator that is effectively invisible to the naked eye. It also functions effectively as a concealable recording device.

Recreational/Entertainment

Pheromone Cocktail

Similar to a perfume or cologne, this is a strong scent sprayed on to a user. It is designed to elicit a positive reaction from those in close contact. This particular cocktail is fairly inexpensive, and consequently the strong smell may occasionally be unpleasant.

This spray's effect lasts for about an hour. To determine whether it adds two Setback or two Boost, roll a d100. If the result is greater than 35, add two Boost. If the result is 35 or less, add two Setback.

Security

Code Cylinder

Used as a sort of secure "remote physical key." Can be programmed to secure a physical lock.

Survival

Dampener Aerosol

A small canister that sprays a fine mist of plasma-dispersing gas. Useful for dangerous situations where carrying bulky armor isn't necessary or desired.

Tools

Hydrospanner

A simple multi-purpose wrench-like tool. Acts in a similar fashion to the Emergency Medpac, but for Mechanics checks.

Repulsor Sled

Also known as a hoversled, the TFD-01 sled is a tiny vehicle used to transport small amounts of cargo. It can hold 2 passengers of Silhouette 1 or the equivalent amount of cargo. This vehicle moves no faster than walking speed.

Treat this device as a vehicle of Silhouette, Hull Trauma threshold, and System Strain threshold of 1. It hovers no higher than two meters above the ground and has no hardpoints, sensors, or weapons.
